Magnus, Not a knight, but Per Langkilde just recently was building a bust of Darth Vader, and posted this picture: http://legocreator.homepage.dk/sw/images/d2a.jpg You could easily do something similar with a knight design. Bruce P.S. Here's the completed Vader bust: http://legocreator.homepage.dk/s...

I'm running Mozilla 1.4 on a Mac G4 Powerbook running OSX, with a monitor resolution of 1280x854, and I also am squinting at the text. The text of actual messages is pretty small, and the box of text under the authors name (where it says when they joined and how many posts, etc) is so small as to be...

Last year there was a poll on Lego.com asking what sets should be rereleased. They were: Black Falcon's Fortress, which has since been released as a legend: http://guide.lugnet.com/set/10039 Main Street, also rereleased as a legend: http://guide.lugnet.com/set/10041 Black Seas Barracuda, which has s...

Hey Matt, Of course Tolkien-esque creations are welcome here. Else I wouldn't be able to post. As I said on FBTB, I really like the rounded walls using hinges and the recessed gate. Nice work. It's cool that we've seen several different takes on this same scene--yours, mine, Jon Furman's, Rick...

Hey Anthony, I just saw these on Brickshelf. Very nice. Is that normal red, or dark red? If dark red, how'd you get so much? :) I like blocky trees, but I only have so many green bricks, which always get used up in my ground before I even get to putting trees on top of it. One question, how do brick...

Could I raise a negative voice here without being burned at the stake? I'm actually very opposed to the panel wall pieces, and those pieces I have are at the bottom of my unused parts bin.* So castles that use a lot of these pieces don't really excite me that much. Of course, if I actually bought on...

Stephen, I like the suggestion of an ox. I have repeatedly said that a cow would be a great molded animal to make. I could see this finding great use in castle, town, train, and western themes (I know, western has been dead for several years now, but they did just rerelease the better sets last year...

Jojo, thanks for the nod. :) Those playmobile sets would be great as Lego models. Any idea how well they sold? Would a whole line of civilian sets be economical for TLC? I also would hate to see further licenses, even LotR. These just limit the builder's imagination. On fantasy, there was also the F...

My biggest wish is that they would include sets from different eras and cultures. The adventurers line has given us pieces and figs appropriate to India, China, and previously Egypt, but I'd like to see more along those lines (and not just modern sets with ruins), plus Greece, Rome, Vikings, Maya, A...
