Re: Set Review: 7038 Troll Assault Wagon

The chicken leg was the deal breaker in deciding which set to buy. I saw it and immediately made up my mind. Well that's a rather vague post. So what was the other set? Which set did you buy? If you don't mind my asking. Your use of phrase "deal breaker" hints at negativity... I was at Ta...

Re: The Eight Wizards

I have to pick Majisto, with the Evil Wizard as a close second. Those two are the only ones I own anyway. Majisto was the first wizard I ever got, he's got the nostalgia factor going, but I think he also looks the best, as I think the plain old simple smiley head works better beneath the beard than ...

Re: Weekly Set Review: Sea Serpent

I think I might have to put this on my want list. This looks like a pretty decent castle boat, I really like both factions included in the set, and since there are no current human ships to challenge the Troll Warship and Skeleton Ship, this might just have to do! Sure the Sea Serpent would be way o...

Re: Set Review: 7038 Troll Assault Wagon

I've never been much of a fan of siege weapons, I've got a few, and don't need any more really. This one is basically the same weapon that is on the front of the Troll Warship, and I already have that. I've got a couple big Trolls, so I didn't need to buy it for that. But then I noticed the chicken ...

Re: 7029-1 Skeleton Ship Attack

I figured it would be hard to get since it's retired and was also a "special edition" or "limited edition". Can anyone explain what that actually means? I noticed my copy of 7036 Dwarves' Mine also said "special edition" on it. Generally, Limited Edition or Special Edi...

Re: 7029-1 Skeleton Ship Attack

This set is my latest acquisition (and probably the last for awhile as my Lego budget is spent... :( ). I hadn't originally planned on getting this set as I figured it would be hard to get since it's retired and was also a "special edition" or "limited edition". Can anyone explai...

Re: lego troll warship

I like this set... though I have to admit my initial interest was more for the Dragon Rider... as the green dragon is awesome (I'm a big fan of the new dragons). The ship itself looks very impressive, i.e. it's huge. I like that it has oars/rowers which makes it look like a galley ship, the big trol...

Re: Re:

It must have been later released in the US, because my sister got this set (and maybe that's what you implied). I think it's a nice little set... and if you are into collecting Lego horses like my sister apparently was, it's a good one... :) Some Classic-Castle sets were not available at most US st...

Re: What's your Top 10 Most Wanted LEGO Castle sets?

Up until around March of this year I hadn't gotten a lego is probably fifteen years. I happened to be in Toys R Us and noticed 6253 Shipwreck Hideout from the new pirate line on a shelf the end of an aisle... which got me really interested... but what dragged me back into Lego and Castle was the Dwa...

Re: 7093 Skeleton Tower (My so-called review)

I just got this set, finally. I missed it when it was in stores (just recently got back into Legos)... but I'm a big fan of the skeleton faction, so I had to have this set. That, and after I got 7094 King's Castle Siege I discovered that I REALLY like the new dragons, so since I already had the one ...

Re:

I really like this set. Even though the maiden is the main focus, I enjoy filling my towns with various carts. It is also desirable because this set was originally a European only release. So it is hard to find in America. Ben E. It must have been later released in the US, because my sister got thi...

Re: Weekly Set Review: King's Mountain Fortress

I also like the early use of the big doors, and the secret enterance. The secret entrance... is that what the trap door in the pit of the base plate is supposed to be?!? That idea never occurred to me. I thought it was either a cellar or a dungeon and wondered why the treasure chest wasn't down the...
