Re: Christmas Figure Exchange 2014 - PAIRINGS POSTED!

Mine from Jackson arrived just in time for Christmas :) He even came with a classic dragon! Quite the generous gift! Kind of makes me wish they'd made classic dragons in more colours... (ie Blue) My gift(s) from Bronx. :D Nice. Olive seems to be the new fave colour of choice for castle builders.

Re: Holiday Jingle ... er... Jambalaya!

Like I said, I'll be fine shipping international. So please put me as the person in front of andhe. I am not sure about the round robin. I can see how it would be fun, but I wouldn't want andhe to have to ship international twice. And if you are say person 5 of 5..well you don't get to see the box ...

Yes I wondered that. But it didn't fit in my picture :D

Looking forward to seeing what others get!

Re: Elves

Hey, ...Speaking of figs, I'm intrigued by the fact that one of the figs in the treetop hideaway does not seem to be an elf. I wonder what the storyline is? Perhaps it's like Epic, where a human gets magically shrunk down into the elf world? Yeah I think I remember reading a press release or someth...

Re: Elves

I'll be interested to see what people do with the parts. I can especially see something cool be made using all those purple leaves. Some sort of Avatar type forest or the like. I won't be dashing out to buy them. To be honest 2015 looks like a fairly cheap year for me lego-wise (having seen the othe...

Re: Christmas Figure Exchange 2014 - PAIRINGS POSTED!

Nice. I always look forward to seeing what everyone gets. I never even knew those brown stalks existed! (only produced for the Cloud city set if anyone else is wondering). Nice classic torso as well. EDIT: My swap arrived! Thanks to Ludzik for what I'd like to call an 'adventuring warlock'. https://...

Re: Christmas Figure Exchange 2014

Seeing as there's an odd number, and only 3 europeans. I don't mind doing a three-way swap with the other two, or being the one who trades across the Atlantic.

Re: LEGO Ideas results - Birds and Big Bang

While neither are likely to tempt my wallet, it's always good to see new stuff coming out of the Lego Ideas project, as it means there's more likely to be something I DO like in future! I've been surprised by the some of the reaction to the The Big Bang Theory set, as people seem to forget that it i...

Re: Battle of the Castle Sets: 7020 vs 7041

Two sets enter the arena, only one can emerge victorious! 2006 set 7041, Army of Vikings with Heavy Artillery Wagon, versus 2008 set 7020, Troll Battle Wheel. Those set numbers are the wrong way round... The viking set is hideous. Looks like a bad MOC. The troll one may be bonkers, but I'd still ch...

Re: Bound: the Contest

Just watch the trailer and it looks great. Some real humour in their, and it's always fun to try and see what parts/pieces have been used (even saw some brickwarrior ranger helms creeping in at the end). My skills unfortunately don't extend far enough to enable me to enter the competition but look f...

Re: 6246-X Return to the Crocodile Cage

Great work! The original set was one of the few pirate ones I had as a kid and the inspiration is instantly recognisable. Love the working mechanism as well. It's always fun to see play features built in to MOCs.
