Re: Kingdoms 7952 Advent Calender Poll
This set was really an accessory set for the rather sparse King's Castle 7946, and could have been repackaged that way. I really got it for the Wizard who is Majisto reborn from the 1993 Dragon Masters line. I like the red queen, but I don't absolutely love her as she is a color change repeat of the...

Re: [News] Collectible Minifigs Series 6 & 7
Series seven has so much goodness in it. I am really excited about the whole wave, but Bunny Suit Guy takes the carrot.

Re: Medieval Market Village or Kingdoms Joust
http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=10193-1 Released in 2009, The Medieval Market Village is a set designed to live just outside the walls of a strong keep, but might be surrounded by a low protection wall. Good amount of parts and bits, but not really a castle. If you have looked down the line and ...

Re: Series 6 is in stores with some castle worthy figures.
The stardard series 6 assortment box has only 3 Romans, while the sidecap display you find in many Walmart stores has 5 Romans. The better bet is the Walmart chain, as long as they restock. As long as they go on until May, I might just get to 80 myself, unless I get tired of them

Re: LEGO Friends line
I am pleasantly surprised with how well constructed the figures are. My girls always liked Polly Pocket, but I always hated how the rubber clothes would rip, the little parts had nothing to "hold on to" and would always get lost. LEGO elements are the perfect solution as they already like ...

Re: LotR sets revealed!
I've been a Tolkien fan since I could first read. Interesting assortment and figure layout. In order to assemble the 9 Walkers, you will have to buy nearly every set... which also means I will need 9 Riders, and then there is the army of Orcs AND Uruk-Hai, Riders and men of Rohan.... This is going t...

Re: Series 6 is in stores with some castle worthy figures.
The Highlander sword and shield appear to be in all of the Lord Of The Rings sets due out this Summer.
Personally, I'm on for the Roman Legionaire. Only have 36 so far.

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego
I imagine that the Hobbit sets due out for the 4th quarter will likely have more Elves, "Moria" style Orcs, Trolls, Wargs and all sorts of Dwarves. At some point I hope LEGO has time to create the Witch King of Angmar and his Steed, Treebeard, Tower of Orthanc and Sauroman, and an aspect o...

2012 NY Toy Fair images and musings
The LEGO fan website FBTB.net has uploaded many, many, MANY photos and even videos to their Flickr account from the 2012 New York Toy Fair. A link to their frontpage here... http://www.fbtb.net/ While Kingdoms and Castle are notably absent, things look quite good for fans of castles and medieval cre...

Re: King's Carriage Ambush
I like many of the included elements, but I am having a hard time liking those half-arches used for tree branches as LEGO has changed the gap too much and I think the carriage is just too heavy. It leaves me cold to know that LEGO could have and has done better.

Re: Bricktober
OMG!! The minifigures are glued to the magnetic base! (There is no head-pound or facepalm emoticon... :( ) Also, the Bricktober figures for 2010 had a 1x2 plate at least so they would not perpetually bow to every person approaching the fridge, but the 2011 figures do not have that option. My Ninja P...
