Dear Lego,

As I build my Halloween layout, I am realizing more and more I would like to see more colors for fall foliage. Perhaps something in tan or yellow or dark tan?

I agree. I am a member of the Lego GI Joe group and most of what is in there lately is some knockoff brand stuff. And while nowhere near a problem, the adventurers group seems to have a lot of M*A*S*H* stuff in it recently.

What's your desktop group? I'd like to check it out?

I've been considering dabbling in lighting my MOCs. I think I'd like to start with a couple of torches on the exterior of some castle buildings. I know of lifelites and brickstuff. Can anyone recommend which to use?

I particularly like the centerpiece black castle MOC... Steve Thankyou Athos, that was a true powerbuild (in terms of time spent on it). Not a lot of flashy techniques but I was quite happy with the result. I think that's why I like it. It reminds me of that classic lego style that I like so much. ...

I watched the first two episodes of the TV show last night. It was, actually, not terrible. Still not into the sets, but I may watch the show.

I really like the color scheme with the olive green leaves. Its a neat idea for a subject too.

I don't think it is really a keystone arch, just cleverly designed to look like on. I would guess he is using snot bricks ([url]http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/cata ... ge?P=87087[/url]) and tiles.
