Re: Why?

I think it's pretty clear if a faction is raiding a hapless peasant farm, they are indeed "bad" for doing it.

Plus, come on, rats were behind spreading 'the Black Death'...OF COURSE they are evil.

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego

Not only do we most likely lose Kingdoms for a few years there is this deep rooted fear that I cannot get out of my mind that Fleashies will take over Castle after the reboot. LEGO has been trying to push fleashies into the mainstream figures for a while now. Even Fleashie elves are bad. As previou...

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego

I second everyone on the new parts and molds. Alot of new potential. The downside is that some of these newer detailed minifigs make the older ones look, well...really old. They just do not blend well (if you plan to merge them into existing factions or casts). Oh well. The LOR is so epic though th...

Nostalgia Factor: Classic Sword (gray short sword)

The "WOW" Moment as a child: Crossobow (dark gray)

Current: The Mace/Ball & Chain is really fun and intricate for a single piece (pewter)

Re: Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive

Everyone keeps talking about the "two sets combined" pics, but I have no idea what that means?? I've only seen the same pic over and over. Could someone clarify the difference? Thanks! One Set Two Sets If you look close, you can see that the main structure is double wide with two sets com...

There were some FANTASTIC entries! Great innovations and creativity to the competitors. I especially enjoyed the winners, well-deserved.

You forgot to mention the rest of the statistic...Fewer figures, increased price.

Re: Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive

First of all, I've been away a couple of months and WOW, what an announcement!? Second, is there a reason is was listed (on page one of the forum) as $119 US, and on page 5 (the LEGO link), it is listed as $150? That's quite an inflation from previous LEGO Castle sets. How is no one noticing...

Re: How do you efficiently clean your LEGOs?

I purposefully kept out larger pieces with decals on them. I am afraid these classic pieces, like the Old West "Bank", "Sheriff", "General Store", and other genre decals will peel and eventually come off if they soak. What are your experiences with Lego stickers, etc.?...

Should we SAFELY assume the new wave will continue production and distribution THROUGH the Christmas 11' Holiday season??

Re: Which Castle (2007) set is the best?

The Crownies Castle was HUGE, with a generous portion of armies and pieces...one of the sets that slipped through my fingers after being in production for YEARS! (I should have waited on the Medieval Market, which is STILL in production and I could have had it. :( ) That said, the MM is among the be...

Re: How do you efficiently clean your LEGOs?

Since I first began this thread, in the few spare opportunities I've had to do leisure Lego cleaning, I've had GREAT success cleaning the bulk of my childhood Legos, thanks to the thoughtful advice for many of you. However, I have a new question or perhaps a more specific one. While I would soak, re...
