Re: A Dark Secret Within

What if the Knight/King statue were to be bigger, not an actual minifig, and the entrance beneath is through the inside (or maybe behind) the statue? Wonderful theme and gruesomely horrific results underneath! I love that you didn't shy away from how insane and barbaric cults really can be. ...

Re: Second Kingdoms Wave?

I would still like to see a faction based on either a Scottish Highland-esque society or a similar Clan type faction. This would provide both civilians and warriors as TLC could simply provide swords, pitch forks, and bucklers (targes) to arm the civilain population of a village type setting. There...

Re: Secret Contest Entry - Brotherhood of Night

Kudos to this MOC! I love the concept especially and the execution is superb. The ladder-to-table is particularly innovative, realistic, simplistic, yet absolutely authentic-feeling. I'll look forward to more "sets" in this theme of yours! ; )

Re: Second Kingdoms Wave?

Much as I would love to see a Forestman Return, I think there would be a colour clash between the predominantly green Forestmen and the the predominantly dark green Dragon Knights. This is not insurmountable, however, but one of a few things would have to happen. 1.) The first possibility is that t...

Re: Second Kingdoms Wave?

ZOMBIES! that would be baller. zombies trying to berak into a castle. that would be very hard. but also difficult to kill them since there are no guns to shoot them in the head from far away. Consider that entire series *bought*! However, that sort of just re-modifies the previous theme of "ar...

Re: How do you efficiently clean your LEGOs?

Wow, great replies! So for those of you who soaked them, there were no problems regarding paint coming off or fading away?

How do you efficiently clean your LEGOs?

Ok, so many of us have LEGO sets dating back to our childhood. Personally, my original LEGOs have tried their darndest to survive numerous moves, storages, and elongated displays. Over time, (just like any medieval castle) the exterior of LEGOs can show some serious fatigue. Now while the paint jobs...

Elves :D
On that note, wasn't there strong speculation that TLG will use Kingdoms to propel a new sub-theme/line of forestmen? :woo:

Re: Review: 2010 Kingdoms advent calendar

It sounds to me as if this set is simply a hodgepodge of leftover pieces that were overproduced and now inserted into an overpriced set. But I could be wrong and am/are hoping for a correction/clarification.

Leaning Tower: it happens when you build on rock and sand.... ;-) http://brick-castle.com/leaning_tower/Leaning-Tower_thumb.jpg More pictures in GALLERY This is a really inspiring MOC. The design is so intricate, and you've crafted the kind of storytelling w/your minifig placement that harkens back...

Re: Green Dragon Tavern

Wow, this is a GREAT MOC! I really really like what you've done! I'd buy this if it were a set release. I think TLG Castle would bold well to start following leads like this every few years. The place has a definite sleekness to it but might benefit from the occasional brown planks that minifigs cou...

Re: Church of St. Lazarus

This is a GREAT MOC. I love the conceptual work, the architectural design is solid if not a bit un-gothic in its general archiness. However, TLG needs to follow your example in creating a "monastery" (no preferential designation as to its spiritual leaning) to fully compliment their most s...

I dig all the action going on inside. That said, I hope for the owner's sake this Inn isn't built on a faultline  :P
