Re: MCCVI Entry: Windfell, Castle in the Clouds
I like it! Although I confess that when I first saw the clouds, I thought they were puffs of smoke from an explosion inside the tower. Then I re-read the title. Oh well, the other possibility seems more exciting... anyway, good job!

Looks great! Definitely can see the architectural style even with such a small MOC. Good work!

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
I could contribute a wall segment... with an MMV building "modified" into it... Man, time flies! In any case, I've no excuse not to build some foresty-ish sections. Yeah, that can work too.

Taaall! And awesome as well. I like the arches and the circular windows. Is there anything inside? It'd be neat to have a full interior as well, but it's still amazing as it is.

Re: Etemenanki ziggurat - The tower of Babel
It looks amazing! Very authentic to the original architecture. Just looking at the model makes me think of how massive it must have been.

Re: Castle Conall - Faire Day!
Landscaping is one of those areas I'm still new at. I did want to put a real path inside, but at the moment I don't have the parts. I may alter it later to add a more realistic setting, probably raise the entire structure, but it'll have to wait. Anyway, thanks for the comment!

Castle Conall - Faire Day!
Hello again! I've got another little story behind this one: nearly a year ago I decided to build this castle, on the basis that I had finally amassed enough parts for a project of this size. Now compared to all the absolutely amazing works I've seen on this site and elsewhere, it probably doesn't ap...

Re: Lomburg Castle
That is seriously awesome! I love the more natural, 'practical' construction of the walls, the odd angles, the tallness, the little details with the figs, everything! It's amazing! Your other creations are just as cool. Awesome job!

What, no comments yet? I think it looks very lively! I like the open feel of the upper level. Good job!

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
A tournament sounds fun. Especially if it has even more than just jousting. (Some One-on-one combat, other period competitions that-I-can't-think-of-yet, etc.) And having it outside city walls means it can be big and sprawling, which would be good for that faire-type feel. Just a thought.

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
Alright, I'll note my contribution here: I have a rather large castle, 20"x30", with one corner section that opens into water. (I'd show some pictures but I'm not done with it yet and feel paranoid about showing a work in progress.) Anyway, the castle could work very well against the edge...

Whoa, thanks for the responses & suggestions! Let's see if I can answer a few: Wow, this is incredible. Excellent first MOC! I saw in the other thread that you are planning to attend BrickCon. Is this still together? It would fit nicely in the Big In Japan section that The Brothers Brick is spon...
