You obviously did your homework on this, very nice. I like the fire on the roof and the waves, I don't think they would have worked on a larger wooden piece but with the ships to break up the water I like them.

Wish there was a picture of the inside, and that on the inside there was a giant fire pit. I'm guessing thats why it is open at the top? Also, the rest of your flickr stream is top notch. I love the flowers on the tree in the water-test vig and the cliff MOC really makes me think that the one knight...

I think if you spend some time working on the terrain, making the courtyard and invaders camp a little more broken up on the ground and add some foliage to the grass itll look great.

I feel shamed to have posted this the same day as Hellboy's castle. As soon as I get home for the summer it will be remodeled and expanded so that it will truly be worthy of the title.

Great castle. It is quite big. I like the inter walls and the trees, the lower branches on them are great. You don't happen to play starcraft2 under a hellboy screenname do you?

What about east of the mighty mississippi? Did the tears in space make it un-inhabitable or has news from that region been cut off since the fall or something else?

Would make for a great story line or MOC, maybe the two fathers meeting at a bridge to exchange daughters or something.

Yea, I see what everyone is saying, something about them just make me feel like they are cheap or non-lego looking. It's probably just me fighting back against the new lego sets (which I don't know why I am doing, since I love all the new sets.).

I like it. It is on similar to the size and quality of my MOCs. I like the hinged walls and feel like there is just enough greenery at the base to make it realistic.

Aliencat, your MOC is great. I love the castle wall and the scene you have created. The siege tower is well done. In terms of making a crusader MOC, if you didn't have enough camels or Arabic figures you could always make a MOC after the Mummy series, Scorpion King movie. You could use the new mummy...

i don't get the chicken pieces. in the medieval market place village all the birds are made out of bricks and they look great! why shift over to the pre made molds? I think they look cheap and out of place, more playmobil than lego style.
