When I tried to change my email address it said it was banned. It does'nt really matter but the current one I don't use. Does it have anything to do with me using Gmail.

Several email providers are not currently allowed due to spammers using them. These include hotmail, yahoo, and gmail. We suggest finding a less common free email provider to use for your CC account.
