I guess I'm not the only one who also reads the page and the forums on my iPad... so naturally I placed a link to the forum on my home screen. The problem is, iOS devices use a screenshot of the page as default icon (since the favicon is too small to be used)...

It's a small thing, but a nuisance nonetheless. So maybe some CC God could add <link>s to touch icons to the forum and page code, so we get a nice CC Logo on our iPhones and iPads.

It's as simple as putting this in the <head>

I think it would look better without the "CC" on it.

That said, I have no idea if an admin wants to implement this, so I wouldn't rush to make any edits until you hear something from them.

Inspired by mitah's addition of the CC to the standard shield, I've quickly thrown together a slightly more stylized rendition for the consideration of the Mods for inclusion in the CC pantheon.

No offense taken if you don't like it.

If this idea is approved by the admins we most likely would use a simple shield design without letters. The shield would be similar to our favicon and have the same proportions other shield graphics on CC.

We will also discuss multiple platforms such as apple and android.
