Chat?

Post by JPinoy »

Im just wondering if the Classic-Castle Chat is ever coming back?

Are you guys gonna make a new type of chat, perhaps like the one on BrickLink?

I'll add my voice here. I loved chat. I know you said it would be coming back, eventually, but it's been 2 months... :?

Not trying to rush you or hassle you; I'd just love to see chat back. :)

We are looking into options for chat that will not be hacked. If anyone has suggestions of programs please post them. Would you prefer an IRC chat like classic-space? Do you know anyone who could program a custom chat for us? Also let us know. Thanks.

Although I never used Chat(I didn't even know it was there) I would love to have it active agian so that I could use it. No rush though...take your time.

Why not use an HTML type chat like in BrickLink? It's pretty simple and user friendly.

Also... I personally dislike IRC chats...

This could be a tempory fix; we could use the free chat provided by frapper.com that Nathan set up.

If you notice in the bottom right corner, there is a chat log that we could use until a better and much safer version comes along. It has a few nifty features (chat alert, map pop-up) that make it livable. If someone were to put this on the Classic-Castle homepage or post this as an announcement, I'm sure it'll become as popular as the old one.

A new chat program is being actively tested and will be announced when it is certain that it will work properly and not cause any issues.
