Trade/buy/sell feedback?

Post by wunztwice »

Hello, I was curious if there might be a way for us to institute some way of "registering" trade partners and leave feedback. I know some other simelar sites have an easier way to look up the feedback of members for this sort of a deal.

It's just an idea...

That is a good idea, since I recently bought 6095 from Twotonic knight but never got it. Maybe it got lost in the mail since it was over a month ago and I can't contact him.

Interesting, just a few days ago I asked the same question to Bruce N H. If the Admins want one, I have free time each day so I could maybe help out....

In the past we thought of starting a "straight shooters" list similar to fbtb.net This would take a reasonable amount of effort by an admin, mod, or member to maintain. The admins will discuss it. Are there any long time CC members who trade frequently and are willing to maintain this list?

I do a fair number of trades and I would be willing to maintain a list.

AFOL and his money are easily parted.

Great. Lets discuss this further elsewhere on setting up rules for the list. Thanks.

I also think this would be a great idea - on BZPower there is/was a 'Trusted Traders' list; everyone on it was guaranteed to be a good seller and you could always be sure. I think such a thing would work well here, too.

I think this would be a great thing to have here on CC.

Might I suggest the way we do Trader feedback on www.lordsofthebattlefield.com ? It's a Battleteck website. it is basicaly just an extra "forum" on the forum lists usually after the Buy/trade/se// forum. Each trader can leave his own feedback thread where others can post how their trades went. That should keep extra work on an admin down. I really agree that this is a good thing. it saved me a lot on LOTB.
Ooooh Cheeze!!!!
