Thank you Blue! Let's hope they find it, read it and answer our pleas with a 'yes' ;)

The first elephant came out when I was in my LEGO dark ages. How well received were they? Does anyone remember?

The set that included the elephants was 50% off on Shop at Home. I remember ordering two of them for $35 each. I think people liked the elephant well enough, but the sets maybe weren't the most popular.

I got both sets on 50% clearance too. The sets weren't horrible. They were typical of the sets of that time. But wasn't it either the last or next to last of the Adventure line? In reality, those elephant are really huge in comparison to a minifig, but I think it was well worth what I paid just to have the elephants.

Depends on how you count. If you consider all of Orient Expedition one line, then its the last. If you break up the Orient Expedition into India and China, then its the second to the last.

I really liked that Palace set too. It had some cool printed arches and a really cool printed flag.

I do wish I had an elephant, I might have to find on on BL at some point... sadly, they were mostly before my time.
