Musketeer (4000th post)

Post by Athos »

To celebrate my 4000th post here at classic-castle, I built super-sized version of my forum alias' namesake.

And here is a link to the original minifigure form.

Nicely done! I've read the (unabridge) Three Musketeers, and I must say it's awesome. And Athos is quite the character! ; )

Epic sigfig named Blue...but Blue got tired of that outfit and hair. (Tis a female thing...she wants new shoes too.) And she will debut her new look as soon as I get time to actually take the new photos.

That's a ton of green. I think the hair turned out great. Though, for some reason, the eyebrows are a bit disconcerting to me... Who is that red fellow to the right?

Tedward had his epic sigfig there too. He had red hands. Yeah I followed the directions exact for the head...because I was so stressed by the wig that I didn't want to have to figure out that too. I guess she's okay. But she definitely used up more plates than I ever expected her to. Anyway...say goodbye to that Blue...the new one will be arriving sometime in the near future.

Really cool! Is there an established template for converting minifig designs into these brick-built giants, or does everyone just wing it?
