6246-X Return to the Crocodile Cage

Post by Dubbadgrim »

A (loose) remake of classic set 6246. Includes a working bone lever to open the cage and a cross section of the cage and its prisoners.
I think most of us loved the old set, so I thought I would do a realistic version of it. This meant making it a lot bigger and reorganizing some of the features

This is great! I love the modern/classic LEGO feel it has. :)

Great work! The original set was one of the few pirate ones I had as a kid and the inspiration is instantly recognisable. Love the working mechanism as well. It's always fun to see play features built in to MOCs.
Less talking, more MOCing.

This is a lovely idea - and well executed! I had this set as a kid as well, and I really did love my islanders.

Now this is really nice not only because there seems to be a lack of pirate mocs out there but because it's a great rendition of the original set. The flow of the set is all very nice and clean making a moc that is very appealing to the eye.
