Anyone heard of this site yet? http://www.pleyworld.com
They allow people to upload their original creations for voting, like Lego Ideas... but you only need 5000 votes for it to become a set. I haven't seen any news about anything becoming a set yet, but am curious how that will work.
No castles yet, either.
Here's a cool build by Arthur Gugick there, though. I've seen it before on MOCpages.
What do you think- is this a viable model, will it stand the test of time??
Pleyworld needs castle MOCs
Re: Pleyworld needs castle MOCs
It seems like they occupy a unique niche- nobody else rents out Lego sets. Not having competitors is always a good thing.
Pleyworld.com has some pretty well-known builders. Mike Doyle seems to be getting close to 5000.

Yea, I like that it won't take as long for a build to get all the votes it needs. I'm interested to see what happens when the first build reaches 5000.
