Hiya.

Glad to see some non US/EU castle fans making their voices heard. :)

Can't wait to see your movie. Hope it's not 12 hours long like the real ones though. That's be one big download ;)

Não preocupe meu amigo. Seu inglês é melhor do que meu português.

(Don't worry my friend. Your English is better than my Portuguese.

Hello, if you can´t speak portuguese then I can teach something for you:

Personal Pronoun
Eu = I
You = Você
He = Ele
She = Ela
We = Nós
You(plural) = Vocês
They = Eles
ps: there isn´t a pronoun corresponding to "It", if you want to talk about an animal or things use "Ele".

Questions and Answers
-Qual é o seu nome?(What´s your name?)
-Como você está?(How are you?)
-O que você está fazendo?(What are you doing?)

Especial sentence
-Você é muito legal!(You are very cool)

if you have any question i can try to help you

And to the others, thank you to the thanks

Hi Mauricio,

Welcome! I've got an opening question for you. What do you think of when you think of "castle". Many of us from the US or northwestern Europe think of castles from the history of England and Germany and English language literature like Lord of the Rings (my personal favorite), King Arthur legends, etc. Are there inspirations from Portugese language literature or from actual Brazilian fortresses that you can share?*

Bruce

*I ask this thinking of Jcrasterman making a MOC based on an actual building in Spain that many of us would not have been familiar with, or Jojo making a moc of Simplicissimus from German language literature, etc.

Hi Bruce,
this is an interesting questions.Here in Brazil there are no stories with castle. The literature of the europe is here too, than we think about castle we remember of the same stories that you remember.

Thanks for your question!!! :D

Excuse me Bruce.

Don't forget French speaking peoples. :wink: I'm from Quebec. I have a lot to speak about French medieval castle and history. It's one of my passions.

I don't see any French fan at Classic-castle site however... Maybe I'm the only Native French speaker in CC. :(

Thanks for this small course.

Many similarities with french. :)
Eu = Je
Você = Tu (common way), Vous (polite way)
Ele = Il
Ela = Elle
Nós = Nous
Vocês = Vous
Eles = Ils, Elles

French IS fantastic. I find it to be a nice musical language.

English sounds better coming from a French person. At least, I think so.
