Is it possible to make custom faces?
OK, I know it just isn't right to have 10,0000 Harry Potters storming my castle. Does anyone have a template or any ideas for custom faces, if it is indeed possible to make these? Thanks a lot.
Sitting in a midnight glade
Firelight dancing off burnished blade
A Forestman sits
Wondering about the next day
But after three mugs of ale
Let it bring what it may.

Ask about it here. There's lots of great minifig customizers there. http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewforum.php?f=12

I am currently working on a PSD of different facial expressions.
I have removed most of the non-castle like faces from my heads & plan on repopulating them with custom faces.
How do you guys put the faces on? Via clear sticker, white sticker, waterslide, or some other way?
I don't claim to take credit for originality of all the graphics. Some I made & some come from other content.
I will make the full template available soon.
(if anyone has any ideas or contributions, let me know)

Here is as close to a classic smilie as I can come.
The source file is setup so that you may turn off & on layers to your liking. You can mix & match eyes, eyebrows, mouths, hair...
The border is for a cutting line only. When printing for transparancy, it is helpful.
I plan on trying both clear stickers & water slide decals. As soon as I do, I will post which one I think is better.

10,000 Harry Potter's led by an evil wizard would make a GREAT siege! Just think, they are the ultimate disposable troop! You can use them as missle weapons, (fire them from the catapult). As they are killed manning the battering ram, there are always more to take their places. Besides, the inhabitants of the castle will run out of arrows sooner than you'll run out of Harry Potters!

Here is a classic face w/ transparancy.
Resolution = 300dpi
The border is for a cutting guide only. Cut inside the line.

When making faces, I try not to use a template because it limits what you can do with a face (notice how the eyes of the authentic minifig faces are getting bigger and bigger?). Basically, the only rule/guideline I use is that as long as your face design doesn't exceed one quarter of a minifig torso, your sticker should fit nicely on a head stud. As to how to apply them, you can use either decals or clear-labels. Refer to the faq on my website for details.

Thanks a lot! Does anyone have an idea for a really nasty looking face? Come to think of it, Which minifig has the nasiest looking gob ever in the history of LEGO? Personally, I think it must be one of those Dragonmasters.[/i]
