I recently (earlier today) attempted to create a custom helmet by cutting off a Bat's wings and melting the ends so they would stick to a Dragon Knight Great Helm. Long story short, they fell off and the helmet could no longer fit on a minifig. Luckily I had another helmet on hand, and my Dragon Knight leader is no longer bald.
Anyway, could anyone tell me a better technique for sticing bat wings (or other objects like plumes and such) onto helmets they weren't supposed to be on?
Thanks!

Don't know if it would work or not, but if you are willing to commit more pieces to experimental sacrifice, my best guess would be to try epoxy glue. Or superglue.

Use superglue. Take the ends of the bat wings and rough them up alittle 1st it helps the glue hold better. If I get time Ill make one later

you could try using sculpty, but I'm not sure how well it would work.
