AK,
Send me your email and I'll send you the photos of the minilegs side by side with the articulated miniature legs. My images are just too big it seems.

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
I ordered some of these yesterday, to test em out. Too bad the black could not be ordered, are they out of stock already?

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
I was going to make a comment about these mini action legs a few days back, but used that time to order 2 of each color. I'll let you know what I think when I get them . Looking forward to getting them.

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
I hope you all like them! We really worked hard to make these. I have some images showing them side by side with the old ones but need to figure out somewhere to host them before I cna put them here.
I think these will really help on the MOC side of things. Sort of keeps the smaller figures from being able to 'interact' as much as the standard ones. I look back at some of my MOC I did in the past and think I could do them much better now with these.... might try to redo a few with them in fact to see how it changes them.

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
With regards to the colours that are currently available, do they cover the colours that have been available for Hobbits (based on the two that I own, that's a yes), Dwarves (LotR and Fantasy), other Castle / Kingdoms sets? Also, gut feeling on postage to Australia?

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
We have hit a few of the colors used in Hobbit but they have a number of new colors being used because the number of dwarves involved. We are planning on dark brown in the future as it is common with LotR but we started with the lighter one as that was what the dwarves used originally in the castle range of sets.
As far as postage. No idea. Let me ask my friend as he might have a better idea.

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
I just received my mini-action legs and here is my review. I am pretty impressed with them and will list the differences. Sorry, no pictures taken at this time.
Differences: Mini-action legs sit a slightly higher than the mini legs. I found the difference to not be an issue.
They do not allow a minifig with the Fantasy Era beard to sit properly. They do however allow a minifig to sit when wearing the old "Majisto" beard, or the new Gandalf style beard. It is a problem of the beards and not the legs themselves.
They are moveable (duh) , but the reason I mention it is because of the flexibility. They are very stiff to move, which is actually a good thing. I think after some time, they will loosen slightly and become easier to use.
Overall, I recommend these mini-action legs. They are made by an AFOL, and they look fantastic and fit in perfectly with the style of minifigs. At $1.15 a piece, I think you would be foolish to not try them out. I'm glad I bought some and will be looking forward to more colors.

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
QB,
Glad you liked them. I wish I would have tried them out with the older beards but that said I figure they would get in the way of the standard legs as well. The newer ones like Gimli and those from the hobbit should not have this issue from what I can tell. Sad though. They just come down past the torso which is the issue.
Mencot,
When did you order them? if the order was made before Friday it should have been sent. Let me know if you do not get them.

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
I managed to take a few pictures to show off the legs.
Comparison side by side
Wizard with old style Majisto beard
3 Dwarves (Gandalf beard in the middle)
Overall, they go great with official and your favorite 3rd party vendor items

Re: Articulated Miniature Legs
Karalora,
We will get them out as soon as we can. This week might be an off week and they might be a few days delayed with the Holiday this week but should be out as soon as possible.
QB,
Some good photos I really like the last one! We should call it the chase.

No problem. There's no hurry, and if there were, that's what I get for dawdling.
