AltBricks Questions

Post by royalbrickcustoms »

Hey guys,

I was thinking of getting some AltBricks leaves and was wondering if the tree kits or mixed (100 count) bags of leaves was a better deal. Please let me know if you have any insight you could share on this.

Thanks in advance,

Get the mixed bag. The tree kit is made of all non-Lego elements, so the quality isn't as good. You likely have plenty of tree trunk parts anyway, or can BL a few brown arches for super cheap if not. Better to spend your money on leaves.

I agree with AK. Definitely get the mixed bags. You get 100 leaves as opposed to 22 leaves, 20 weeds, and some extra parts that you most likely have laying around. I managed to make 7 decent looking trees with 1 bag of the mixed autumn leaves.

Awesome because I created a new Fangroth Tree and I think I used about 16 official lego leaf pieces.

1 bag of 100 should work great! I might even BL some olive green leaves to.

I'll post a pic of my tree design on Flickr soon. :)

Thanks for all the help! :)
