After her family was slaughtered in a vampire raid near Windhelm,the young Nord woman took up the profession of slaying the world's filth. Having been to Cyrodill to be trained by her Uncle,a ex-commander of Penitus Oculatus,Valkyria returned to Skyrim,where she joined up with the Dawnguard.Swiftly she climbed the ranks,becoming the commander of the Dawnguard's special forces,the Grey Hounds.
