Fixing broken saddle and barding clips.

Post by hornsofodin »

so i picked up a few different saddles and Barding of brick link awhile back. the printing was good but the clips where broken. Decided to try and remedy that using a minifigure hand. i think it came out nice.

That's a creative solution. What technique did you use to attach the hand? Did you drill into the barding? Epoxy?

on the first attempt i just opened the existing hole, then trimmed the peg on the hand and secured it with super glue. the problem with that is the hand peg is at an angle. The second attempt i trimmed of the peg andused a flag pole in the hand to maintain the desired angle as the glue set.

A very unique and interesting idea. I never would have thought to do it myself. May have to give it a test, as I have a few bardings that have broken clips.
