By-your-leave!

Post by Wildman »

Just thought I'd say "Hi" and see how my avatar worked.

Got a growing collection centred on creating Sherwood Forest, Nottingham and it's environs and ... yes I know it's only in folklore and not in anyone's idea of reality ... the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

Looking forward to sharing ideas on the forum.

Welcome to the site, looking forward to seeing some of your "Sherwood Forest". A lego creation of yours doesn't have to be based in reality or history for that matter. There are enough Robin Hood fans here.

As it stands, it's simply every major "Forest" set produced so it includes 6054, 6066, 6079 and 6077 plus a few random trees plucked from other sets and I'm one or two bricks short of creating 6071 from scratch. I've just bought a baseboard to start experimenting having been inspired by some of the creations here.
