I was on a vacation for a while...and when I got back, I felt little need to rush to my lego, or check this website.
Thus, I am headed into a dark age.
I probably won't be here very much, and I hope your all here when I get back. I'm a little dissapointed that I didn't break 300 posts or 400 or whatever. Oh well.
Good bye, the times were good, and I hope to have more latter on.

PS: I'll probably check back to see who replies and what they say. So make it good!

Dark Ages????
Sounds kinda like me, but a year ago...
Sure, I didn't do a lot with my Lego, and I thought about packing it up... and I felt no withdrawal.
That changed, it came back.
Your desire will too. In the meantime, enjoy your freedom, and make the most of it. The time will come when Lego will be important again...

Don't tell yourself you're in a Dark age. You're not!
So what if you didn't feel the urge to play with lego. I get that all the time and I'm a VERY active builder (just don't show my work).
So what if you didn't want to check this website straight away. You were distracted, and it's just a website to many of us.
Don't tell yourself you're in a darkage just because of those things! I really don't know you, just your name, but I always feel sorry when someone leaves. I've lost many friends that way. I'm sure this place doesn't want to lose you.
Think about this post and remember.

Look to my coming, on the first light of the fifth day. At dawn, look to the East...

Smitty - If you really do go into a dark age - can i have your gray?
Just kidding.
Like the others here said, a lull in lego activity doesn't always mean a dark age. It just means you have a life. Thats all. I found that the few times I packed up my lego, (like when family moved in 'temporarily' for two years! and i didnt have the room) I went a little nuttier than usual. I finally had to unpack some and have a little area all my own.
Even right now I don't do something lego related every day.
A hobby is what you do - not who you are.
come back when you can buddy, and I'll see you around chat.

Awww....such nice responces.
Okay. Fine. I AM NOT GOING INTO A DARK AGE.
I'm just prefering to play Video Games, or football, or practice archery instead of building, and I feel like there's too much too look at on this site (ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!)
Therefore, I'll check this thread (Smitts--King of the Hypocrites) and award a "Most Convincing to Get Me Back But I'm Still Not Coming Back I'm As Sorry As I Can Be Without Coming Back" award, to the post that deserves it. Yes, that's it! Miss me!
Also, I guess I'll check the chat every so often, so maybe its not a complete lack of lego.
Oh well.

Don't worry, more members will join here, like me!Robin Hood wrote:Noooooooo, we have lost one of our own. We must get three more new ones to replace him.
Well if you want to leave, then so long. But please remember us when you return, for you surly will.
Even though I don't know you, farewell, and I hope that someday you will rediscover your passion for Lego.
