Hello I'm new.

Hello, I have been an occasional lurker here off and on over the last year or two. I have quite enjoyed the Colossal Castle contests and all of the lego product info and speculation. I have recently gathered my old childhood lego collection from my parents and have begun organizing it and adding too it(when i can afford to). I am really looking forward to learning some techniques from many of you in order to begin doing some MOC work of my own. Additionally I would like to mention a little praise for the Admins and Mods here for keeping what is probably the most sane, respectful, forum I've ever seen free of trolling and flaming. Thank you all for an opportunity to be part of this community and I look forward to the possibilities!

Welcome to the board! The MODS and admins keep the board free of any animosity, trolling and nonsense by just being nice yet firm at the same time

I think it would be handy if everyone reads the FAQ, it holds lots of information about stuff I never knew.

Yay for a pointer to the FAQ! (It took a fair amount of effort to put together and is all-too-often ignored.)

Anyway, welcome Trademark. While I appreciate the credit given to the admins and mods, I'd also like to give credit back to all of you. You'll find that this is a great group of people. I'm guessing that castle brings out the best in all of us (not like those jerks over in space and trains ...

).
