Lego Builders near Atlanta

Post by AK_Brickster »

Hope this is OK to post here...

Hey so my wife and I are intrigued by the low home prices in the suburbs around Atlanta. Seeing as how neither of us has ever been to Georgia, I was hoping that there might be some CC'ers from around there who could tell me A) what they think of the area as far as weather, activities, etc., and B) what the economy is like in terms of job availability, taxes, commuting traffic, etc., C) What are some good neighborhoods, and, more importantly, areas to avoid (high crime, run-down infrastructure, etc).

Also, I work in the engineering and construction field, so if there is anyone who can offer specific info about that, I'd appreciate it.

I know that Mark of Falworth lives in the area, and that there are some nearby Lego conventions, so at least I'm covered in that regard ;)
