I'm a 27 year old guy in Texas of the hated fleshy head camp. I got pulled back into LEGO with the LOTR theme last year and over the past couple months I have been trying to learn about customizing. I have yet to finish my first project though I'm happy to say I have already learned a lot. The How To articles on MCN and this site in particular really helped me get my head around a few things but I still have a few questions. I am looking forward to getting involved here; seeing the fantastic MOCs, learning what I can and hopefully contributing a bit.
Cheers,
SB

Re: Hi There!
Welcome to CC! I hope you enjoy it here. And don't worry, I like to use fleshie heads occasionally.

Re: Hi There!
Thanks for the welcome guys! Maybe my preference for fleshies will work to your advantage. Eventually, I'll need to trade off all my yellows.
Do any of you by chance know who I could talk to about professional printing for decals? I've posted in the relevant topic (on four forums now) but haven't gotten a single response.

Go on the K.A.M Forums and look up Kaminoan's email. He can answer many of your questions about customizing with decals and other similar topics.
One the other hand, l have created custom lego heads and other parts with sculpey with GREAT success and results. If you ever have questions in that regard, feel free to send me a PM (Personal Message).
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the tip. I had rubbed that magic lamp once already and was trying to avoid bothering him again but I actually sent him an e-mail a few days ago and he replied today so I'm finally un-stuck.
Regarding sculpting, I will definitely take you up on your offer soon. I've just begun sculpting my first piece, an elven shield, and I am certain I could benefit from your experience. Thanks again. I'm really happy to have found this community.
