HEAR YE, HEAR YE!

Post by Lil_Curt »

Hello everyone in classic castle land. My name is Lil_curt, aka Mr. Greenleaf. My real name is curt an I live in colorado with my family. I am a Afol, an my wife an I got back into lego at christmas when I bought her an our daughter new lego sets. She mostly builds houses, where as my self am getting into MOC building in the midevil time period.

I have been inspired by alot of the great work here an on moc pages an an looking for a good place to ask questions about my building. I am very intimidated by all the great works here and on moc pages, but i hipe to put up some of my own work soon. I have been gathering parts for my first castle and am going to try to put it togeather on a 48x48 gray plate as a start. I am pulling insperation from old german an celtic castles, an am going to base my story around the peacefull dragon knights, protecting and honering the old ways. While keeping the muradeing and devious lion knights at bay.
Any way just wanted to say hi.

Welcome to Classic-Castle, Curt! I hope you enjoy your time here on this wonderful site.

Definitely don't be intimidated by some of the builds here. Many of these builders have been building for years and years. It take's time to get good at anything.

I'm excited to see this Castle your working on. When do you think you'll finish it?

Once again, enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the Welcome Justin. If I stop building and tearing down an re building, A couple weeks max for the beginings. But as Life goes I get started and have to change something, or it dosent go the way I envision.

I will keep you all Posted. Also anyone have anything on a 48x48 base? most of what I see is on 60-80x 60-80 bases and they say thats on the small side. An I am talking Mini figure or Dwarf Mini fig scale, not Micro.

Take a few minutes to go through some of the pictures in the LCC Flickr group and you'll see plenty of MOCs that are much smaller than 48x48. Size isn't always everything! ;)
