Hi everyone! I'm Detroitika from Flickr. My name is Tanner, or you could call me Jon, as I went by for years, and I've long been an active customizer on Flickr but have only just forayed into medieval topics.

Custom medieval minifigures have extremely rarely gotten high-caliber work and even more rarely gotten historical accuracy, LOTR being the main fantasy attraction to most customizers. I'm very big on the very real, very beautiful and practical armor of the pre-Renaissance West and I hope to do justice to, eventually, some complex fullbody suits of armor that Lego products have only ever come vaguely close to resembling. I'm also very into The Witcher franchise!

It's exciting to be among this famed community. I look forward to seeing some great Castle creations and to eventually build some of my own building MOCs!

Glad to have you at C-C! I'm looking forward to seeing some of your customs.
By the way, your flickr link in your signature is linking to the flickr homepage right now, you'll need to adjust that to your personal photostream :)

Welcome! I look forward to seeing some of your work on historically accurate figs. Which regions and eras do you work with the most?

Western Europe, excluding Iberia, from about 1450 - 1530 is my focus. I will also be making figures from The Witcher franchise, which is a fantasy world, but only the more realistically-dressed characters...if you don't count the illogicality but sheer bad*ssery of carrying two swords on one's back, of course!
