Nes gadol haya sham.
A Hanukkah greeting meaning: "A great miracle happened there."
Chag same'ach hanukkah!
Happy Festival of Hanukkah (festival of lights).
NOTE:
Ch = the gutteral sound. There's no gutteral sound in Hanukkah.
No, Im not Jewish, Im a goyim (gentile or non-Jew). To be more specific, Im Filipino and Roman-Catholic & Buddhist, however my girlfriend is Israeli and Reform-Jewish. Many of my friends and neighbors are Jewish also, thus I've become quite familiar with their culture, a little bit of the language, and religion.

Happy Christmas and Hanukah and whatever you're all celebrating!
Actually the vikings did celebrate something they called "Solhverv" at about the same time we celebrate christmas. It was placed on the shortest day of the year on which they ate and drank and did other things... *cough*LEGOFREAK wrote: Anyone know of any other midwinter celebrations?

Islam's Ramadan (month long) it has passed though.
A few years ago, Ramadan, Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa all coincided around the space of 1 1/2 months. I hear that won't be happening again for a long time.
