The Next Legend?

Post by architect »

Image

This Battering Ram image was found recently on a toy distributor website but has since been removed from that site. We were fortunate enough to save the file before it disappeared.

Battering Ram will be a great addition to the previous two legends: Guarded Inn and Black Falcon's Fortress. Children can now connect their castle walls. We assume that the grey will be new light grey in color.
No information on cost or release date was available.

Whether trickery or not... I still think the gray tub will
be very much appreciated... I just hope they distribute
it properly and make enough production to cover the
demand.

I'd pay $30 US for each of them... and I'd like about
10 or so tubs...

As far as the legend goes, I don't have the original, and
BOY I'd love to get this set.

Good source of parts (hopefully, but not likely in classic gray), Good source of mini-figs (6 of them), and a reasonable price to boot.

Plus its, fully compatible with Guarded Inn and Black Falcon's Fortress as well (as was already mentioned).

I'd buy at least 4!!

Wow. I hope this is for real. As for that tub, you got to be kidding. Lego is really doing that?!?

Boy if that is true (the tub) I, well, will be flabbergasted

Hm - I think I would prefer the ram to the gray tub. I like the army building aspects of the ram. If you get enough of them you can probably build a decent sized castle, and have two armies to boot.

any idea what a price range might be? I can't tell - how many pieces approx are in this set?

What is that tub, anyhow. Has it been available in the past? Is TLC holding out the hope that it might be available soon?
By the way, can anyone make out the set number on the supposed "Legend"?

April fools is a silly tradition that manages to rope in the unwary occasionally. I don't think a gray tub has ever been offered, but if is was, the contents would not be what we see here. Crying shame, but about as likely as the color being switched back this week. As to the Legend, nice try. Again another bit of wishful thinking, but perhaps one that could be more likely. If it was a new Legend at least it would be a way to build up armies and new grays, that getting new grays would be a good thing. New grays in a Legend set are still better than new grays in the KKII line though.
