Since the calender is on preorder at amazon.de, I watched the picture again, and I'm pretty sure it's the same fig.architect wrote:I am thinking the same thing. I could care less whether the witch is not "appropriate.," I am glad she's in the set. Gives me more of a reason to buy multiple copies. The higher number of sets that have her the lower the price on Bricklink(usually).stuifzand wrote:Since the calender is on preorder at amazon.de, I watched the picture again, and I'm pretty sure it's the same fig.architect wrote:I am thinking the same thing. I believe he just meant that it's not appropriate for an advent calender--i.e., not very Christmas-related. But that's par for the course for Lego's advent calendars.RebelRock wrote:Appropriate? I don't see what's inappropriate, they're all fictional characters. Really, if you take it that far then what about skeletons and trolls and minifigs with cleavage and violent sword wielding knights?
That is: IF it is still available...Muskey15 wrote:The thing's pretty darn expensive, so I'll wait till Christmas and/or my birthday, both of which are coming in 6-7 months, to get it. The coolest part is all the different pieces, and you can get a lot of rare & not-yet-released figures, such as the good wizard and the witch.

There is a framework made of technic beams and 4x4 round bricks which holds the chess baseplate. I do not have a picture of this. Sorry.Voran_the_Scholar wrote:Hey, Architect.
Maybe you missed my question, but in any case I shall ask it again: What exactly is contained beneath all those tiles? How is the general structure built?
Thanks in advance.
God bless.

I know. Lego is making me angry; after years of bad castle sets, they decide to bring all the amazing ones out now - when im the most broke!jondesouza wrote:Far too much good stuff coming out at the moment. This is going to cause more friction in my house:
Mrs JdS: "But you don't even play chess!"
Me: "Mmmmm. Minifigs. "
Thank you, sir! No pic needed. That's good enough for me.architect wrote:There is a framework made of technic beams and 4x4 round bricks which holds the chess baseplate. I do not have a picture of this. Sorry.Voran_the_Scholar wrote:Hey, Architect.
