Hi i'm new to this website

The last Castle I bought was the 2000 one which was a waste in my opinion
Is Castle siege much better?

The Castle Siege is among the best castles ever released. I still prefer some of the much older designs, but the Castle Siege has a quality all its own and is more than worth the price... if you are into Castle!

I have 2 Castle Siege's. I like it alot. The extra is for a MOC someday.

Joustin set id pretty good, the Black skeleton horse is in fewer sets I believe. Plus good amounts of weapons

I have 4 Castle Sieges. You get lots of bricks and goodies if you build your own castle.

So yeah. Its a very good set

I would get one. Too bad it costs over 200$ in Estonia.

At $8, it is a good set. I was a bit skeptical before purchasing it but after the fact, I really enjoy the set. Has plenty of accessories which are always nice to have in abundance. The minifigs are nice for leading their corresponding armies and the white horse's barding looks great.

I have only 1 castle siege, but I like it. The design looks cool and there are lots of features. The mini-figs are nice.

My only complaint is the structure isn't quite as robust as maybe some of the other castles are. It's difficult to transport since the sections are held together by technic pins.

As a whole, I was generally impressed with all of the smaller fantasy sets like the final joust, crossbow attack, catapult defense, and mine defender as they offer a variety of mini-figs and most of the smaller sets are $10 or less.

Alright, I heard someone bash King Leo's Castle, who was it?? Seriously though, I love that set...

Anyway, no, you do NOT want to skip out on the castle... of course, I got it for Christmas, so I wouldn't know if it was a waste of money.

Yeah, I did fail to mention that. It would have been nice if the pins were at the bottom and top of each section to give the castle some integrity. Nothing a couple extra pieces cant solve though.

Welcome TheMaster

If you have trouble finding one in the shops you can still get them from the Lego website directly, I'm not confident of finding one in any of the depatment stores in Sydney now. The only ones I have seen for some time are in specialist toy shops.

While your there the first Lego castle chess set is currenty 50% of for $41.49 that should compensate for your $40.00 shipping costs.

Castle Advent Calendar together with the reduced chess set and castle seige would make a great combination of the currrent castle range. The calender is unlikey to be available in stores in Australia it appears good value for money with a unique jestor minfigure.

Spend some time reading the threads here on CC about each of the sets.

I'm glad you decided to go with it, because King's Castle Siege is a fantastic, fun set.
