Could you elaborate on the possible incorporation? Are there online LEGO stories that include the color schemes as part of their narrative?Tower of Iron Will wrote:For some reason KKII figures made more sense after seeing the 2007 Castle figures. I don't really want to get all of them, but I'm working on getting all the main minifigs.
I am glad to be able to incorporate the KKII figures, it was smart of LEGO to design the 2007-2009 sets like that.

Re: Re:
When I saw the gray torsos of the Crown Knights, I noticed that some of the later KK2 Knights like King Jayko use that same torso with gold armor. King Jayko's armor has a matching shield with the same coat of arms. I envisioned this as a way to have another human faction with the Crown Knights. After that I decided to see what other factions I could make using the gray upper torso. Next was using dark green legs/euro armor with the Slytheryn (sp?) shield.Sir Prog wrote:Could you elaborate on the possible incorporation? I had decided that looking at the Crown knights that there was a definite difference between them and the KK1 and earlier factions. So I decided to place them on their own continent so that story wise I did not have to explain why they look so different. Storywise the Crown vs Skeleton story motif help set up a whole region on this new continent. With the addition of the other new factions helped me in looking for more of the KK2 figures to use. The baby blue and green knights are good for use as elven factions.
In looking at this I am happy that with the Crown knights I could develop the story so much beyond the basic Crown knights vs Skeletons just with my own imagination. I didn't care for the official LEGO story version for the first KK2 knights so I tuned out any subsequent story. But then I didn't need the official version as I had developed my own.

I still use those figs, even though I only have a few. I want to get a ton of those armors for my armies.
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.
Re: What do YOU do with your KKII rainbow knights?
I haven't found too much of a use for the rainbow knights but I really like some of the the 2006 KKII figs. They should almost be considered KKIII
Re: What do YOU do with your KKII rainbow knights?
I discovered two very good uses for KK2 jellybeans.
warning: this may offend some lego user's.
1: brightly coloured ABS plastic burns surprisingly well.
2: The shineyness of their armour makes them very good for target practice.

I want to try that.
But we can use your knights
I love my Lego too much (yes even the jelly beans).

Re: What do YOU do with your KKII rainbow knights?
I only ended up with one. The red one (I forget his name). From what I heard he was supposed to be the most useless of the jellybean knights, but I would always find ways to use his armour. From fire elementals to magic armor. Later I ended up giving it to my brother (aren't I nice?).

After much discussion I am locking this topic. Everything has been said. Protests will be futile, much like KK2
