Eh. Good fig, nothing else. I wouldn't have bought this.

I bought it, it was decent for the price. The fig was all right and the few tree pieces were nice to have. I never liked the ghost though. 5.5/10 then 7.5/10 now.

It's a nice set, but far from a great one. Pieces in this set are useful, except that there is again another ghost. TLC put a ghost in almost every sets between 1990 and 1993. They are not very useful. This is fun to have at least one, but not in all set.

This is a nice little set. I really like both minifigs. I would happily buy multiples of this set just for the minifigs. I really like that the wolfpack minifig has brown arms instead of black. – I like that a lot.

Overall it is nice little set to add to your castle theme.

I think the value set came with the archer and the black kngiht ship correct? I think I got one of these as part of the combo and two alone when I found them on sale.

I thought the combo was just neat to get such a good mix of men for the price. As always there were way more black knights against the one wolfpack guy but he was used to those odds so not a problem :D

The set itself was cool as an army builder for wolfpacks as they always seem to be so limited in number of them and he came with a shield, sword and cape. (of course the wagon was the best army builder for wolfpack eh!) The idea of the ghost hiding out was novel but I never found much use for it except hiding loot inside the tree, which allowed you to get it out easier, a sort of trick they had to conceal their stoeln loot.

I too hope lego is moving back toward cheaper small sets as they add alot to the playability. I have a much harder time making smaller things than smallish castles etc.

I'd give it a 8.5/10

Never got this set, I got the other Wolfpack sets though. I love the Wolppack theme. the figures are great. They really give off a "hoodlum" feel. I am upset they didn't continue to build the theme, oh well.

The ghost is mediocore. I bet Lego can re-create them with a new look for today. The greay bird adds to the ghostly feel.

I like this set. The sliding ghost thing is kind of clever. The tree and rock is a decent to pretty good example of Lego landscaping. Plus you get a ghost and wolf-pack figure (with a shield no less).

Its a fair sight better than any other similarly sized modern set.

I bought several of these back in the day. I love the idea of the ghost hiding in the tree/rock. The design of the tree/rock is just ok but the pieces are useful to me. The minifig is great. Never could get enough of the wolfpack and I agree they were underutilized by TLC.

Ghosts were of great use to me as i made a custom black wizard back then and he was surrounded by a dozen or so ghosts floating on mist (cottonballs pulled apart) It looked pretty sweet.

I would have given it a 7.5 back then but now it's a solid 9.

It's a better value then "The Knight." A lot better value. You get the leaf pieces, a LURP (which is useful to some extent!), an awesome soldier, and a ghost. For $2.90, I'd buy like 10 or 20 or so. Totally worth it if you look at it that way.

Although having a bunch of those panels doesn't sound great, but oh well!
