I am really excited about these new sets. The great helms are awsome and I can't wait to get my hands on those. I am also very excited about the new designs :woo: but a little worried about the decals. :? Are those actually going to be in the sets themselves? I dearly hope not. I am also a little worried about the color tolorances. It seems that Lego is starting to go down the deep dark path of Mega Bloks   and I don't want that to happen. Does anybody know if the actual sets will have decals and brick tolorance problems? :?

I think I might die if the shields had stickers on them! *Shudders*

What I love most about these new sets is that it's like Dragon Masters versus Royal Knights round 2. :woo:

In the past TLG has presented sets at these toy fairs that include things like prototype animals/elements, stickers where we don't think stickers should be and even the occasional minifig that doesn't belong. Prototypes turn into production pieces before release. The stickered minifigs turn out to be printed and the place holder minifigs are replaced with the correct ones before release. Personally, I have no fear that the torsos will be stickers or the shields will have sticker or even the castle wall pieces. The corner panels may retain the sticker, albeit a higher quality sticker will replace the cheap one they currently are showing.

You may be wondering why I don't believe the 1x4x5 wall piece will be stickered and my thoughts are: It will be printed because the design goes around the window opening. This would probably be a sticker that would be too hard to properly place. Applying sticker with a 'donut hole' are terribly hard to get placed correctly without creasing and bubbling so my belief* is that TLG will print it. The Soldier's Fort had a sticker for that element but it didn't go around the window opening.

*as always, I reserve the right to be incorrect and I'll take my lumps like a man but if I am correct expect a lot of this: Neener neener neener, I was right and you were wro-ong I was right and you were wro-ong....

Did anyone see the guy in the upper prison part of the wooden castle? I could be wrong but he kinda looks like a peseant to me. Maybe he and the cart could mean civillian sets are in the picture after all? Just somthin to think about.

The folks at Eurobricks found more photos over at spieletest.at. It's another princess. She looks like she has orange hair which is a nice change, but it's still the same face and hair piece that we've been seeing for the past few years. It would be nice if LEGO mixed things up a bit with the faces.

The new photos make the castle look incredible; far better than King's Castle Seige. I really can't wait for these sets to hit store shelves.

OMG! That new pic of the back side of the castle is incredible! It appears to be very well constructed. Did you see the number of telescopes with flames and the number of shields on this set? :twitch: the castle even looks better when put together properly. I know the back wall is off to the side, but now I can tell the shape of the structure put together by the instructions.

I agree with old republic. I doubt stickers will be a large part of this construction. The ones around the windows would be tough for kids to get just right.

I am truly impressed by the quality of design of the large castle. The modularity looks to be much better than KCS. I wouldn't be surprised if they released some sets similar to the old blacksmith's shop to add onto the castle in the future.

Wow! What an awesome looking bunch of sets! I am so THRILLED to see two pretty realistic/historic based sets of heraldry! Finally, we have two factions with cool heraldry in which neither is obviously evil and deformed! This is great as it lets you decide which side is the "good guys," and even better, lets you have them cooperate and team up against other factions if you like! I'm going to buy the entire line for sure. I hope that the green side gets their own proper walled fortress in the future!

And like everyone else, I am thrilled with the new helm, plumes, and "unbadged" soldiers. Good stuff all around!

I'm not crazy about the brown arches on the inside but I'll live.

I agree with DaleDVM agreeing with me, it makes me feel even more confident in my opinion. I'll be impossible to live with....

Glad we are getting another female. Wish we could see the torso and skirt slope piece.

She has white arms, I wonder if she's a rehash of the Admiral's daughter or something new. I'm also unsure of her hair colour, it doesn't really look to me like any of the orange colours but it doesn't look like the reddish brown bricks next to it.

Wow, upon seeing those pictures Im suddenly much more excited for the big castle, it looks fantastic! If not a peseant at least its a female fig. Any line without a single female fig loses alot of respect from me.

I agree with Ye Olde Republic that he will be impossible to live with...

When I first saw the pics of the sets on Eurobricks a while back, I wasn't quite sure what to think of the brown corbel pieces. I like the thought of showing a little wood as part of the castle construct. The more I look at them the more I am just not sure what to think of them. I definately don't like the idea of having torches right underneath them like next to the jail cell. :eyebrows:

I suppose I will have to see this live and in person to make a final judgement on those pieces. They are pretty easily replaced and the overall design is money in my opinion!

I would have preferred having braggers or tassels. (which is just a piece of timber sticking through the walls) Some people put them in their MOCs with beautiful effect.
