Hi, I just found 2 boxes of my old legos in my basement. A lot of the legos are still there. But I don't have any manuals. Are there scanned photos of instruction manuals for the older lego castle sets?

Like 6086, 6086, 6077, 6071, 6066

Looking for scanned instruction manuals for any of these, so that I can try and put them together

Peeron.com has a good selection of scanned instructions in their database for older sets.

Thanks for the fast reply. Incredibly Helpful. I hope I have all the pieces to make a full castle. I found two tubs full of Legos. Maybe I'll post some pics later

Here's a webaite I've found to be extremely helpful; I'm pretty sure it has the instructions to every LEGO set ever made, all the way up to the recent ones.

Well, I do have a lot of pieces, and probably enough to construct a castle. EXCEPT, the main thing I seem to be missing to get anywhere is the correct bases. I used a manual off of Peeron (thanks again for the suggestion). And I was able to complete "6071 Forestmen's Crossing". A few of the blocks are the wrong color. But I did have almost everything. The main thing I lost was the correct green hat for the girl. (had to use blue) And the River base. Either way, I'm surprised I was able to get as far as I did. Considering this stuff has been in the basement for 15+ years and didn't even know it was there.

Is there anywhere to get the pieces I'm missing? Where would I get another river base without having to buy the whole set again?

Bricklink is the best site to get those missing pieces.. the green hat could be a bit expensive though. [I still want a forest woman.]

I absolutely love the Brickfactory instructions databased if only because the site design reminds me of the old Fibblesnork Lego guide.

As a lark, I decided to put "Lego" into eMule's search engine to see what I would come up with, and I found several .rar archives of instructions, organized numerically by set number.
