I hope so to. It's almost impossible to find impulses around here.Blueandwhite wrote:If they are only available as promotional sets then I doubt that they will be that useful for army building as they probably won't be easy to come across. To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.
Re: Promo Kingdoms Sets
I do hope these see a wider release. However, if they are sold at Target like some promos have been, then they should be somewhat easy to aquire (assuming you have a Target you can get to that is). I have 16 of the green crystal monster (I really need to learn his name) Power Miners promo figures, for instance, and I could have gotten several more. I agree that they won't be as available as regular impulse sets but if they are released at Targer then it should still be possible to army build them (just not to an endless horde sized army).Blueandwhite wrote:If they are only available as promotional sets then I doubt that they will be that useful for army building as they probably won't be easy to come across. Hey guys, someone over at Eurobricks snagged a 30061 Promo set. Check out the topic here
Looks pretty good to me! I wonder where they will be sold because this person got it from bricklink.

Re: Promo Kingdoms Sets
I've recently bought some 30061's off BL too, from a seller in the Czech Republic. Back when I ordered them, the set wasn't even listed on BL yet, so he had to list them as some sort of custom set. But as of yesterday, BL already has it listed as a set (no inventory yet, though).
About the set itself: no big deal, although the 4-spiked thingy is a nice touch. But the fig! I absolutely love the fig. Beautiful two-sided torso with a real menacing-looking dragon head pattern. The new helmet colour is cool. I miss a shield, though, and I'm somewhat disappointed that the shortsword is PLG, when there are new "pearl dark gray" (?) weapons in some sets.

Cool! I wonder if the next promo set will appear soon (30062??). The next one looks like it has some great accesories and pieces.The_Hun wrote:I've recently bought some 30061's off BL too, from a seller in the Czech Republic. Re: Promo Kingdoms Sets
Well when I bought 30061 I could only find it in England on eBay and I had to pay $14.36 for it which is way expensive. ~KnightMan~Knight Man wrote:30062 is a promo and was sold at Target but what about 30061 what was that for? I do know that its in the non US style packaging though. ~KnightMan~
