Pic Request: 7094 & 7946 Side by Side

Does anyone currently have both of these sets built per instructions (not moc'ed or customized in anyway) that could supply some side by side comparison shots (front, sides, back, top-down, minifigs, accessories, etc)?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have the newer castle yet. But if I see any pics like you need, I'll post 'em here.

I think what he is saying is that for the sake of conversation and easy sharing, try to be as complete as you can in asking a question. With so many thousands of LEGO sets denoted by numbers, it is quite the blessing that many of them were named. Some of us are Liberal Arts majors, not Mathematics majors after all. :)

And some of us who ARE mathematics people have too many numbers running around in our head to remember set numbers. So I second your request to name the sets please.

7094 is King's Castle Siege; 7946 is the new King's Castle.

Sorry I just took my KCS apart as I needed the blue roof pieces and large windows for my MOC I am taking to brickworld! I just don't have the parts to put it back together again.

I did get to campare them side by side before I took the KCS apart though. It is amazing how stable the King's Castle is in comparison when you pick them both up. KCS is quite a bit larger though but definately not as solid.

My little Photobucket album is way more complicated to link photos to this site or I'd have had this post made a half hour before tomorrow.

I'll try again...later. :tasty:

HOLY COW! Just by looking at the two, I never would have though that King's Castle is that much smaller. Never. Ever.

That looks like a huge difference, especially when you consider that 7094 KCS has 920 pieces, 10 minifigs (3 with breastplate armor), a dragon, and a barded horse vs 7946 KC with 933 pieces, 8 minifigs (2 with breastplate armor) and a barded horse.

:o Wow, Kings Castle Siege is a good size bigger than KC! I was not expecting that! It looks like you could fit a King's Castle into KCS! :D Thanks for the pics.

The Kings Castle looks smaller, but it also looks more substantial. The KCS looks open and airy, while the KC looks more solid.

Say all you like about footprint size, but i think KC is as has been stated a much more solid construction. It has a classic feel and a better overall design, WITH a gate house!

KCS is a nice castle do not get me wrong. I'm thrilled with any four walled castle.
