Just a little question, how big is the sum total of your Castle minifigs?

My vote (100-200) includes peasants, townsfolk, and royalty, not just soldiers.

I am a fan of huge armies, I love setting up huge battle scenes. My vote was for 200 plus, but I would have loved a 1000 plus category. My current soldier total is over 1350 and I also have about 200 non-combatants. Once I am finished organizing from my move, I hope to post pictures of a massive battle scene I am planning.
After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

I haven't counted my figs for a couple of years, last count was 216 and have been adding all the while. This includes 40 or so non combatants.

I forgot to say how many I have.
2 civilians, 7 BF, and 7 Lion Knights.
Sad isn't it? :(

I've got somewhere between 100-200, but this is a bunch of factions of 10-20. I build mostly for the camera, and I find that I prefer to take a closer-up picture of a smaller portion of a battlefield rather than a wider view with a whole ton of figs. I almost never have more than 20 figs in a scene, so if I have 10 from either side I figure that's plenty.
If I did more for display at shows I can imagine that I would want larger factions.

I only voted 200+ because of my 107 skeletons that make up my army of the undead :)

How embarassing!

:( I got a small force of Dragon Masters-Black Knights. Right know I got 48, including 3 color guards, a four piece band, and two dragon riding wizards. My cavalry is a whoppoing 7  And my forces wouldn't be half that much if it weren't for Anthony Sava. I should be getting a Black Knight and King soon from Bricklink :D I wanted a force of 50 so their would be enough to fight the new factions, if they ever come out.

Its pretty weak...but I'm only 15

Not that I have an actual definitive count...but Im somewhere between 300-400 soldiers. Add about 40 peasants/kings/queens/princesses/clergy to the mix as well.

All but about 30 of those were direct from sets I have bought over the years brand new. Only recently have I had to get sets and additional soldiers fom Ebay and Bricklink.

Im not including the Harry Potter figures either....I'll find a use for them shortly. I think I'll go with the idea to customize their torsos.

This kind of sounds like a "my dad can beat up your dad" question. :o

Anyway, I haven't counted lately, but I would say I have over 3,000 castle minifigs. About 2,400 of these are Dragon Master or Fright Knight types, 100 Black Falcon, 200 Crusaders, and 100 Forestmen/Wolfpack. I also have several hundred "peasants" which consist of a wide range of customized minifigs.

about 70 troops of mixed "Factions" in the royal army, 60-70 armed townsfolk and mercenaries, 20 or so imperial soldiers-the pirate theme kind (which i use in my castle setting), 16 undead and 6 cutlass wielding monkeys
