Why, for trout slapping, of course!

Soooo... Let me get this straight... First: the Dragon Knights disable the king's carriage with a giant, spring-loaded mallet, then Second: they trout-slap the king? Sounds like the dawning of a new era in medieval warfare.

Actually, it was all probably a misunderstanding... "Mallet? I thought you said mullet!"

Yeah I was kind of shocked when I saw the price for the carriage though. I hope that is an estimate and they will lower it a little. The carriage might be fancy but not that fancy.

Especially comparing what you could buy for 10 dollars more the prison tower rescue, or you could buy a carriage and two trees with a fish.

You ever watch the old Muppet show? I bet it's a boomerang fish like the one Lew Zealand has. Either way, it cracked me up too when I saw it.

I've been a member here since November, but just haven't had anything to post really yet. I just noticed something, however that might be useful..

Is this a new dark brown tree piece? This set might be a good piece set, being only $11.99:

HTH, Thanks!!
If you are referring to http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=2339&in=S in Dark brown it was available in a number of 2008 sets and a single 2010 set.

As someone else mentioned, a useful piece to have.

I also think that is way too steep. I'll surely buy one, but would push it further towards clearance sales.

I myself focus on the red and whites, so sadly the prison and blacksmith are not my primary sets, the mill village however makes me squeal almost as much as the medieval village did.

(Hi by the way)

Hello Zilberfrid I am new myself.

It is funny to see the pricing because everthing else seems to of good value. The mill is priced about what I expected and the prison. The blacksmith though I think is underpriced. If it sells for $10.00 then I will be buying quite a few to boost up my armories of all the new weapons.

Is it just me or does the kid in the mill village look like castle's first ever young girl?! Shoulder length dirty blond hair, freckles, and a light green blouse all scream little girl to me.

The villager torsos all look good up close, and I love the new Dragon plate armor.

I personally think that hair is pretty masculine in shape but you're right, it certainly could be a girl. This is a good sign because the Market Village gave us a little boy and now we may have a little girl so this means that there is a prospect of future generations of peasants in LEGOland castle. I'll be sure to introduce those two as soon as I can!

LOL Trevor.

I am pretty certain that it is a young girl dressed like a boy. Just like in the movie Dragonslayer. The parents obviously don't want their daughter sacrificed via a lottery to the Dragon Knights pet dragon. Then when her true sexual orientaion had been discovered a fight broke out. The knights tried to take some gold as punishment to the villagers who had been decieving the rightful authorities all these years. I'm surprised everyone didn't realise it sooner. The scene on the box cover totally spells it out! :P

It looks like these sets will give us the opportunity to beef up the ranks of our dragon knights, which is pretty cool. And I'm always in favor of more civilians. All in all, I think I'm even more excited about these sets than I was about the first round of Kingdoms sets.

The only set I'm not a big fan of is the Dragon's prison wall (?) The barding and new Knight is awesome, but I think we could have received a better design than a wall for the next Dragon building.

I'm a big fan of the forest ambush however! That carrige looks great, as do the horses. I do not really like the printing on the side of them, but I'll get over it. I'd like to see a few more trees in the set, and less gimmicks (spider web and fish) but I am really excited about this one!
