LEGO string

Post by CAI »

Hello,

I have 4 older sets with drawbridges, and without the original black string, over years, just got cut up and thrown away. I had over time subtituded thin sewing thread. I'd like to get the thicker original lego rope for these sets, couldn't find anything on bricklink, if it's there i missed it.

Thinking its gona be hard to get. Did lego get this rope specially made for the sets, or is it common stuff you can buy in a store...

Well, here is bricklink's string page. There is thin, medium, and thick cord there. This has been the string used in many older castle sets too.
You would rather be building right now.

You can also use some black (or brown) thick thread for sewing leather. Almost the same thing as the Lego stuff.
