I too had high hopes after hearing about Brad's talk, those hopes were shattered and now I have spent money on Megabloks, worse yet I have no buyers remorse.

Lose not thy hope! Leaving LEGO for MegaBloks is just like leaving a castle for a cottage! If I, a fourteen-year-old man, still have hope for the future, then all of you AFOL's should follow suit! Do not desert LEGO!

Indeed it was. Digging up old irrelevant threads is a problem Please read the CC FAQ regarding this issue:

http://www.classic-castle.com/ccfaq.html#forum11

In addition, posting just to increase one's CC forum rank generally leads to permanent "gong farmer" status.

Now, if one were to be demoted to Gong Farmer, would their post count go back to 0 or 1 and stay there? Or would it keep counting but stay at "Gong Farmer"?

Just asking,

Looking back, it seems silly to think that Lego would be so ignorant as to replace castle with cheap knight-bionicles.

I don't believe that Castle has died because its one of the evergreen themes. Like Town and space etc. it will probably evolve as seen before like KKI, KKII & fanyasy era. Bionicle won't keep the theme alive, TLC has tried and failed to do the same with KK. The thing is that we all know that the Castle theme has been less popular ever since KK but it has not died yet and I don't think it will for many years to come. No one should lose heart just yet. :)

I indeed am sorry, yet again I forgot to refer to the rules. I will not make this mistake again. I also did not intend on posting just to higher my rank. Once again, forgive me.

As I stumbled in late last night to check the progress of my favorite Bricks, I found this topic, promptly forgot its historical context and frantically tried to figure out what new product was killing both Castle and Bionicle in one fell swoop. Only after reading the whole thing over again did I realize the date.

DON'T DO THAT. You scared the living spit out of me man! :o

Do not worry. I think you are figuring out how the forums at CC operate.

I am going to lock this thread to avoid any confusion with the current status of castle sets.
