This week’s set is 4819 Rebel Chariot.

Rebel Chariot, released in 2000, is the only horse driven cart for the Bulls. It features two soldiers, one with scale mail and the other with studded armor, and various accessories. This is the only set to contain the chrome silver ovoid Bull’s shield.

from the minifig/army building stand point I consider this one of the best bull knight sets(two figs and a horse for $5 is hard to beat), but but from a design stand point its one of the worst. chariots are suppose to be light and fast, this thing looks like a brick on wheels! the least they could have done is make it look like it was made out of wood instead of stone :? and I have no Idea why those goofy red handles are sticking off the sides instead of the back where a minifig can hold on to them. anyway, here are the pros and cons.

the good:
two figs plus one horse for $5
very cool shiny shield 8)
Gilbert the bad!(my favorite minifig of KK1)
crossbows and a lance

the bad:
horrible design
the dude in the chariot(Weezil?)is ugly

overall, this is one of those sets that's good or bad depending on what you want to do with it.

Two soldiers. A chrome shield. And two cart wheels, with nice axle pieces. Though the cart is really goofy, its still a decent set.

I wasn't a big fan of this generation of Castle, but I like the chrome elements they scattered throughout the series. I have 6091 King Leo's Castle, and now I'm wishing I had gotten the sets that featured the unique chrome pieces.

As for this set, I like the minifigures' torsos. But the Star Wars-style cannon pieces used to connect the chariot to the horse are something of an eyesore. I've got a bunch of them, but I've never found a use for them in the world of Castle.

This set does look like it'd be fun to play with alongside something like 6095 Royal Joust.

In the US of A these made a retail appearance at the (now out-of-business) KB Toys stores.
If memory serves they were reasonably priced at the time at either 2/$10 or close to that rate.
I did by quite a few for the figures and the chrome armor/weapon sets and upon parting them out I learned that a large number of the sets I had purchased were missing pieces. It was definitely a factory issue as the boxes and internal parts baggies were all sealed, and after a call to LEGO Customer Service all parts were taken care of. The basic build was very snooze-worthy I agree. Not too sad that the series was short lived as LEGO has certainly improved since these were available.

I remember loving the chrome armor sets (especially since the Kingdom of Ikros was doing something cool with them in its story back then) and this set was no exception. I detested the design of the cart though. It was blocky and completely inelegant. This set was not bad for building armies though.

I remembering getting this and http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=4816-1 as a pack one christmas. Rebal Chariot had my first horse and was tied for my second castle set. I especially liked the crome shield it made games so much more interesting. Other first peaces with the set were the wip, weels, sword, and the quiver. As for the chariot for it self is kinda sad, but even after the crownies and kindoms it will always have a very special place in my Lego.

Comes with great minifig parts, and a expensive horse, which is great! Also comes with a very cool shield, and some weapons. But the chariot is disgusting! :P It is way too blocky, and looks like it goes 1 mph! Otherwise, not bad.

The red handle is for the crome shield to be put on it. I don't know why lego bothered to do that but thats what its for.

Hey,

I'm pretty much with everyone else above. I got a couple of these for the figs (love those torsos, also good helms), weapons and horse. The chariot was awful.
