New arch piece! Perfect for Gothic cathedrals!

Postby Bruce N H » Sun Feb 10, 2013 4:49 pm

Hey guys,

Yes, as a Tolkien fan I'm happy to see the new sets, but most exciting to me is this new arch piece, the 1x3x3 gothic half-arch:

Also that set has good torsos and orange(!) leaves, so I predict it will be a very popular set among castlers.

Wow, those are great! There's a good chance I'll be getting that set now.
I was looking at the pictures of it earlier but I actually didn't notice those arches, just the orange leaves. :P
But anyway, thanks for sharing!

Cool parts, I'm really hoping those arches will come in bley later on. :P That with the new leaves and the little fig statues near the top of that pic (does anybody know if there's printing?) makes this set pretty nice. :D

Just think of the neat shapes you could make if you laid those arches down in pretty patterns and filled them with cheese......

The little statues are I think the same as in Attack on Wheatertop, you mean this one probably : Body Microfig Plain Complete. They are LBG without printing. If you want them with prints just get some Heroica sets, loads of them with print in several colors.
I can built a Castle, now I want to MOC a Castle.
