Not bad for an army builder. I like the armor, so I'd get it if I found it.

I really like the set because of the face and the target - great for building your armies and setting up tournament events in the courtyard.
It would be great to see some of these simple style sets rereleased - rather than just the figs and weapons they have been producing. Don't know if they would be as good with Jellybeans though ...
Bert.

I agree. I want that target...
Though I wonder why the bush is going off to the side. Perhaps this was ment to be attached to the baseplate of say, Royal Knight's Castle, by the bush?

That's an interesting idea, and it definitely makes a lot more sense of the bush. I'm not sure how well it would work with the base of Royal Knight's Castle though, considering the fact that baseplates tend to be a little "shorter" than regular plates. It'd work great with other sets, though!Danju the Clever wrote:Though I wonder why the bush is going off to the side. Royal Knight's Castle was just an example. It was the first thing that popped into my mind is all.

Got it when it was new. Still have it... The little target and guy look good mixed in with my collection and I seem to recall getting a lot of play out of it when I was a child, it was my only target piece so all of my archers wanted to use it.
The whole pack had a lot going for it and would have provided a good way for a kid to get into Castle. Maybe TLG could put out a new pack like this with an impulse set, a $5~$6 set (like the Crossbow Attack), and a $10 set of some sort. I would pay around $20 bucks for something like that these days.
Overall, pretty good. 9/10
