I wonder what they mean by "something red"
What does this mean? Red Uniforms? Red "Winged creature"? Red Castles?

I do hope what JPinoy is right though

Just give a decent emblem, good minifigs, plenty of grey 1xX pieces, windows and roof pieces.... That's all we want.

I agree with DM though, I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best!

Hello!

Hehe! That's for sure the best strategy to avoid bad frustration. I even canceled any hopes because in my experience high hopes always let me down. I just don't expect anything ever again (regarding possible new Castle releases).

This source told me that it had something to do with the Black Falcons, as well as Red. So MY guess is something LIKE this......

Image

I could be wrong about this guess, though. It could be a resurgence of the Crusaders or Black Monarchs/Knights for all I know.[/img]

Woh. That's some freaky coinsidence Legofreak!

Perhapse... no, best that I heed Dragon Master, Redaxe and Jojo. I will keep my expectations under submission for now.

Even so there is a part of me that is relentlesly uplifted. Please TLC, don't mess this up!

I shouldn't have read this thread. Yet I'm kinda glad I did. *howl of tourment*

Wouldn't be surprised if Lego uses fans' ideas. Long ago, before AquaZone, Wild West, and Orient Expedition came out, I had imagined that one day there could be a theme that had something to do with the wild west and have cowboy hats, and a mid-east theme with turbans and scimitars, and I even built a submarine using Space parts.

I never wrote about it to Lego nor discussed it online since back in those days I was like 13 and did no have a comp back in the mid-90s.

There was a new castle theme I thought up of back then. It involved eagle/falcon versions of those dragon/bat battle helmets that horses wear. As well as a HUGE castle set. But it could just be a dream, and not a "prophetic vision". :P

 :?
This is just Great.
Now there are two prophets and they're messing with my poor mortal head!

So, ah, if you don't mind, what's in store for LEGO around 2012? I'll be 30 then and would like to consider LEGO area in my house design.

What? 2012? Haven't you heard that the world is GOING TO END by that time? It'll end because MegaBloks will become the dominant construction/building toy producer in the world.

They will try to get the people of the mid-east to become AFOMBs. But the "kings of the east" (Glabok, Shifty-Brick) will try to stop them by sending hundreds of thousands of sets totalling 200 million clone brand minifigs, but will fail trying to unseat MegaBloks. MegaBloks will even have the power to defeat the 2 last Lego sub-brands that are still alive (Bionicle and Jack Stone). Only the 2nd coming of the Lego minifigs will defeat MegaBloks. From there the defeated armies of MegaBloks will be cast down into the Lake of Molten Plastic for recycling.

End of the world?! :o
Twins?!?! :o
Ohh man, guys, thanks for the heads up!

I will now alter my plans for a house to plans for an underground bunker.

Given the scarcity of LEGO in 2012 I shall build a LEGO vault within the bunker to ward against marauding bandits desperate for real bricks. It will have purple flooring so the many yellow bricks or gears will show up if I drop any.

The twins will have the entire level below the vault and the food reserves will be below them. Their level will be accessible only through the LEGO vault. That way my wife and I can defend them without worry with the large arsenal I'll purchase. There in this mountain citadel we will await the 2nd coming of the LEGO minifigs.

Hmmmm... I think I will need massive amounts of money for this. I will now sell all my possessions and live in a hole. To keep clean for the many jobs I will undertake I will perfect the dust bath. For food I will live off shrubs and grubs. All funds will be split between a savings account and LEGO hoarding. Either that or 9 years of excessive criminal activity directed towards Magablock's corporate bank accounts.

I do wonder how I will ever get married this way but I have faith in the prophecies!

You guys saved me a lot of headache! Here I would have waisted time finishing college, have just one job and be recklessly carefree with my spending!

O praise be to the mighty Carver who has sent these prophets to guide his followers! Hark now and heed their words ye children of LEGO or be cast forever into the Lake of Molten Plastic!

I go now to dig my hole.

Speaking of Apocalyptic BrikWars..... some of my armies are ready to take on those vile MegaBloks.

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=553715

The rest are complete minifigs but with no available baseplates to stand on, and about 3x the number of minifigs you see in the pic are in boxes and *cough* incomplete *cough*.

Hmmm.. I think I'll retake the pic with the other factions' cavalries in the pic as well..... when I have time.
