Which information are you referring to?
I think they're refering to my rumour of two battle packs in the not-so-distant future.

In all honestly, it could be totally false. Either fabricated by the OP or the actual information from store employee. Assuming that neither are lying, and that it's actually quite plausible judging by previous release schedules, I'd say I'm quietly hopefully.

On a side note, I've also stumbled across some cloned (fake) Castle 2013/14 figures on ebay (similar to the fake lego superhero figs if you've seen them on flickr etc), which might add to the rumours that a castle battlepack is on the way, as they tend to be China manufactured - as are these clones.

I guess all we can do is stay tuned!

I hope they have battle packs, but then again, nothing is for certain.

That's probably it. Hmmm, yeah I'm not sure what could be the deal one those, fake or not battle packs could be something to hope for as I would certainly purchase them.

BrickOwl has found some pictures of the battleback. I found them via brickset:

I presume they are ok to post, since there is no watermark...

What? that's so annoying that they're STILL using the grand total of 3 heads between all the dragons from the first wave. They're actually using the exact same minifigs. That's so annoying, I wish they'd give us more variety.

Thanks Steve, looks pretty legit!

Yes, I wish there was more variety too but I think we've determined that this is just a placeholder series for a possibly better Castle line next year. The figs are cool and the sets would be okay to get but if they will be priced like the past battle packs at $15, it won't be worth it because for $20 you could get two of the small $10 sets with almost the same figs...

More excitingly, the Lion Battlepack comes with chrome bars!

@Athos, Huw follows basically the same picture policy as CC does so if it's posted in Brickset database it's safe to post here.

I like that we are getting battlepacks, I dislike they are complete retreads of the released minifigs. I also notice that each battlepack is now 4 minifigs and some minor somethings to go with instead of being 5 minifigs as in the past.
I'd rather they would have kept the 5th minifig and not tossed in the minor bits but what can you do?
That said I'm still going to get some, just not as likely to get multiples.

I agree, but after looking at it closer, it is a good way to get the whole variety of figs minus the king/wizard for a decent price if you're just looking for figs. I know I'll be picking a few up haha

How much do these packs retail for in USD? $14.99?

I'm guessing they'll be that much as they were last time, just instead of a 5th fig we get treasure or a useless catapult :P

Would be lame if it was more than the forest ambush.

Yeah it would but I think they'll probably price it to $15 like previous times. But it could be lower as the fig count is only 4. I guess we'll really find out in a couple months here. Anymore than $15 however is definitely not worth it.

I am with jordan. If there more then forest ambush, ill spend the money on that as opposed to the battle pack. More useful parts to me...

Well they have popped up on Lego.com and I'm not pleased with it. http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/Castle-ByTheme They are $3 more expensive than Forest Ambush which seems stupid. I may get one of each still but I won't be happy about it. $18 seems to expensive seeing as Forest Ambush was only $15 especially seeing as NONE of the figs are even close to being unique.
